Donna lived across the street from an acquaintance of mine She was like a nurse to my friend who needed a lot of medical attention. I became good friends with her while i was visiting my friend. It didn't take much to love her.We became close in no time at all. She had a way of bringing out the best in a person, because she was the best. I will miss you Donna. I'm sure you are busy in heaven. love, Margie

to give it. She kept the family together, visiting them and helping out whenever
and however she could. She was a great sister to George and sister-in law to me.... ..
She was a very loving and giving person. We will all miss her so very very much!!!!!

Dear Mark , Andy & family,
How I will miss her! There are really no words to describe the loss that I feel. She and I would write letters back and forth in email, and I always looked forward to hearing from her. She was a support in hard times, always lending advice or encouragement, and there was always something in her note that would make me smile.
We so appreciated her willingness to drive to Virginia to spend time with her brother, George. Dad always perked up when she was around. All of us did. Bonny especially loved her times with her Aunt Donna. When Bonny found out she was coming for a visit, she would get so excited and be happy for days on end.
She was an amazing, talented, wonderful, and giving person who always wanted to help out however she could. We will all miss her dearly .
Love, Renee and Majed

Aunt Donna is my Dad's only sister. They were both born in Prescott, Ontario, Canada. I can only imagine what life was like as the only girl with 3 brothers! Aunt Donna was the most caring, kind, loving person. She gave of herself to everyone she knew. When I was in college, she sent care packages with Chocolate chip cookies, snack mixes and Fudge. Her fudge was the BEST! Everyone would come to my room when they knew a care package from Aunt Donna had arrived! We always kept in touch, I sent her pictures of my boys each Christmas, pics of their weddings and then of my granddaughters. She loved keeping up with my family and loved my "newsy letters." The last time I was able to take my Dad back to Gloversville was November 2009, when my brother retired from the Navy Reserves. We spent the day with Aunt Donna and Uncle Tink. Uncle Tink passed away the following January. Hard to live so far away. Aunt Donna was love and sunshine in a world that has so much darkness. Sharon Berard Marks

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Donna's family. Donna was secretary to the superintendent while I served as superintendent in Mayfield. Donna was much more than a secretary. She was the institutional knowledge, a confidant, a sounding board and most of all my friend. Donna became an extension of our family and probably knew my kids better than I did. The memories of the time we worked together are some of my favorite memories of my time in Mayfield. She will be missed by so many people.

Donna is my cousin on my Grandmother's side of the family. My dad's side. She found us back in 2005 while working on her genealogy. I have loved ever since. She introduced me to family in Balston Spa and we went on many adventures together. Her Mom and my Grandmother were sisters. I am going to be lost searching the family tree without her. She was a sweet, wonderful person. Pamela Berry

Donna was my mother's 1st cousin. While they were 20 years apart they enjoyed remembering family history together. Donna brought great joy to Mother. Mother was delighted to see her when she would surprise us with a visit. When my mother began her process of passing, Donna was a God send to me. She stayed with me several days helping me to make Mother comfortable. Donna treasured her family and felt supported by her friends. She was a generous and kind woman. I treasure her friendship. Please accept my condolences on your loss.
