To The Wendell Family,
God looked around His garden and He found an empty place. He then looked down upon this earth, and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering. He knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw that the road was getting rough, and the hills are hard to climb. So, He closed your weary eyelids, and whispered "Peace be Thine". It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone, for a part of us went with you the day God called you Home.
I hope this message gives you comfort. May God send you peace at this difficult time. Just know that she is with your Dad, happy and care free.

Gloria was truly a wonderful woman. She was a kind, gentle, thoughtful and giving person. I always enjoyed the times we worked together at St. Cecilia's. Whether is was at Mass, BINGO or one of our many Altar Rosary Society projects, Gloria always led by example with dedication, respect and joy in her service to others. I am certain she has left her entire family with many wonderful memories. May you each find comfort in those precious times you shared and may they help you though this difficult time. Mrs. Wendell - one of the most serene ladies. Always a smile, a warm hello, and a genuine concern for all she knew. She, Mrs. Kruger, Mrs. Walrath and my Mom (Arlene Hinkle) spent many a days and years being the wonderful ladies who were the election monitors. I know my Mom will cherish those memories forever.
