She was a true Christian friend. We enjoyed her company so much. I know she is happy in Heaven with her husband now.

Your Mom and Grandma invited me to dinner and I kept coming back and back and back. She was strict but gracious and caring. She always made me feel welcome in her home.
.
Thru my friendship with Judy I have been aware of her failing health. I hope you find comfort in knowing that she is in a peaceful place. My wife Joni and I want you to know you are in our thoughts.

Dear Family of Maxine Perry:
Our daughter Charis sent us Maxine's obituary tonight and we were saddened to hear of her death. She and Gerald were solid Christian people and were faithful to the Lord & the First Baptist Church in Gloversville. It is a lovely thing to realize that they are now together and will be "forever with the Lord."
May the Lord Jesus bless and comfort their family and friends.
Sincerely:
Pastor George & Christine McBurney Gray

Maxine was THE BEST pie maker ever. My father was especially fond of her eldeberry pie, but Sunday drives weren't complete unless we ended up at the Perry's for dessert. Maxine was a wonderful woman, strong, positive, always cheerful, always witty. She will be greatly missed.

We both knew Maxine and Gerald at the First Baptist Church and the Perth Bible church. Both were wonderful people. We will miss Maxine. Every Christmas my wife makes cookies from a recipe that Maxine gave her. I still remember the Christmas parties at their home in Johnstown. As friends of Maxine we share your loss but we also look forward to seeing her again in heaven where I am sure that she is now in God's care.

I thought you would like to see John's response to my e-mail
Pat,
Thanks for letting me know. I will send a donation in her memory. Maxine was
very much a part of our family as I grew up, and it was too bad that we
didn't have much contact in our adult years. I saw her about ten years ago
and enjoyed seeing her. Please convey my sympathy to the family.
Love... John
