My heart goes out to the family.Dr.D"Errico was a great man with a big heart and a whole lot of patience. He would come out to the house when we were sick,as kids, and I would hide the sick one.He would laugh and take hours talking with us and we'd show him and his son the horses and ponies we had.He truly was a great man and one to be proud of.He will be greatly missed by many.He cared for me and my whole family for many years.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Uncle Al's passing. I always enjoyed listening to his stories about the family and times he spent with my grandmother, Edith. I have some great memories of him dancing at the weddings/parties...he certainly loved to dance!

Dr. D'errico will truly be missed.
I think a lot of people in this town
have good memories of him. He was my
doctor from the time I was born until my early twenties. I will
always remember his very gentle and
soothing manner and his humming.
Later in life when I met my husband,
I found out his best friend, Armand,
was Dr. D'errico's beloved grandson.
It's funny how things in life happen
that way. It goes to show how many
lives the doctor touched in his lifetime. He was truly one of a kind. Love and hugs to his family.

Doc will be sorely missed by his Florida family. We have had the pleasure to spend birthdays and holidays with him over the past 20+ years. This Christmas eve we celebrated his 99th birthday at John and Victoria Cristiano's home. He never failed to entertain us with a "Gloversville" story. Our last get together at our home on New Years Day was especially memorable. He always enjoyed the good food, family, friends, and the great Florida weather. We will truly miss him.

We are deeply saddened by Doc's passing. Unfortunately we are scattered about or under the weather at the present time and can't attend his service. We were so lucky to live next door to Doc and Jean in G'ville. To our children, they were like adopted grandparents. We were truly blessed to have such wonderful neighbors and also to have met such a wonderful extended family! I know how much Doc missed Jean...now they are together again. The wondrful memories will be in our hearts always. We love you. Jim, Terry, Jimmy, Matt, and Margaret Van Horne.

My sincere condolonces to the D'Errico family. Dr. D'errico was our family doctor when we first moved here from Italy. He was a great asset to the Italian community and I am still thankful for his service to the people of Gloversville and surroundings. As a bilingual doctor he performed not just his medical duties but he was their confidant and great friend as well. He always stopped over for a cup of espresso and I remember him always whistling. I also have met your relatives in Grumo Nevano, Italy because I delivered a letter once for the doctor. He will be sorely missed. Grazie mille dottore.

To the family of Doctor Armand D'Errico: The doctor was a great man. He was our family doctor for many years when my sister Molly and I were young. Some of you may remember my brother Vito.
The doctor removed my tonsils and treated me during a long bout with rheumatic fever in my youth. I remember him fondy and I am grateful for having spent a day at the clambake with him and other friends last fall.
You are in our thoughts and prayers at this time of bereavement.

Please accept my sincerest sympathy in the loss of your Dad. I am soon to be 55 years old and I still have two small scars on my eye from injuries I suffered as a small child in Gloversville. I can still remember them vividly, the first getting whacked with great force by a 12 year old when he was "playing" golf with a length of pipe and I turned out to be the golf ball? To this day I can hear Dr. D'Errico soothing me with his gentle words as he stitched me up. A very frightening situation for a 6 year old to be in. Not quite two weeks later I fell down our stone steps with a glass of water I was taking outside to make mud pies with! I managed to cut the same eye just above the first cut and we again made the trip to Dr.D'Erricos office where again he was gentle and soothing as he stitched me up. I know it is so painful to lose one's Dad as mine has been gone for 15 years now. He took care of my Dad too and my siblings. I hope you will all find some comfort and peace in knowing others have such fond memories of him and that he touched so many lives with his gentleness and soothing ways.
Sincerely,
Susan Insognia Tennant
