Obituary of Robert J. Hughes

Robert J. Hughes III, of the Northway Mobile Home Park, Town of Perth, passed away Tuesday March 8, 2005 at his home. Born in Amsterdam on September 5, 1946 he was a son of Robert J. Hughes Jr. and Marion E. Mac Vean Hughes. He was a lifelong area resident and was a Graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School and SUNY Brockport. He also served in the U.S. Army. He was employed for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance in Albany. He retired in He was of the Protestant Faith. Mr. Hughes is survived by his Mother- Marion E. Hughes of Amsterdam Many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00A.M. at the United Methodist Church, Golf Course Rd., Amsterdam with The Rev. Brian Gould presiding. Interment will be in the Spring in Hagaman Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 10-11:00A.M. prior to the service at the United Methodist Church.
