Bugsy, Mark and Tami I am truly sorry for your loss. The southside is not the same. Also, Liberty is not the same without seeing Pat's always smiling face walking down the hall or having her call me on the phone asking if her paperwork has been signed yet or did she even send it and how we would laugh. I miss our little talks we would have. Your mom and I would talk all the time about everything and what she would always say is she wanted you Mark & Tami to be happy and how proud she was of the both of you and oh how much she adored her grandchildren. God truly is blessed with an Angel the day he took her to that special place. Be strong and believe in God. God will defintely give you the courage and strength you need. Always remember she is with you everyday watching over all of you. Pat you truly are missed. Rest peacefully sweet angel.

My dearest sister - a treasure to ALL. You were so loved and have broken so many hearts. We all loved you dearly. You were the glue that held us all together; family, friends and co-workers alike - all say the same - you were one of a kind. My life will go on, but I can't tell you what a void there is - Going away on vacations, family birthday parties, holidays just wont be the same without you. You are everywhere I go - the store, the backyard, the pool, the beach - there seems to be a memory of you constantly. I guess that is good in a way because you will always be with me. However, right now it is a tough reality knowing there will be no more emails, phone calls, visits etc. I love you, big sister, and can't wait til we meet again in heaven. Til then, rest peacefully. Thank you for being there for all of us. Miss you desperately. Love always and forever, your baby sister, Sue

I will never forget the call I received from Sue my best friend, Pat's sister, on June 30, 2005. It was my 50th birthday and Sue called to wish me a happy birthday and to tell me the news regarding Pat. I guess God works in mysterious ways; however, my dear friend Sue will never forget me on my birthday, unfortunately also the death of her sister Pat. We will always honor our special friendship and Pat's radiant, angelic personality on this day. Pat, I feel like such a part of your life/family from the times when Sue and I would be hanging out in your room, to babysitting for Mark in your first apartment. What a "saint" to put up with that corker, Bugs/Elvis, but that's how you were with everyone, a "saint", treating all with respect and compassion. I am so thankful to have known you. Your bright smile will always remind Sue and I of your kindness and of how special friendships are and to cherish them, simply because life is too short for some of the best. You have touched many lives and leave a legacy here on earth with your precious family, Joe, Mark and Tami, grandchildren, and of course, your siblings, Sue, David and Dennis. We all know you are in a special place in heaven. As time goes on, we will all be at peace with your fond memories and carry on as you would expect. Even thought I am in Houston, I will continue to be there for Sue and your family.
Love,
Lynn Malkowich Austin

Pat - you've been my sister-in-law, best friend, and co-worker for 35 years. You've been there in the good times and the bad, we've laughed together and cried together and I don't know what I'll do without you. You were one of a kind. I loved you like a sister and they came no better than you. I know you're in a better place but you've left a huge void in many, many lives. Joe, Mark and Tami - my heart goes out to each of you and I just want you to know that I'll be there for all of you in whatever you need. I love you all.

My Godmother Aunt Pat, an Angel like no other. Life for all of us will never be the same. I remember a time when we were in Maryland, and Uncle Bugs and I were messing with Craigy and you smaked Bugsy in his face. Every time I think about it, I laugh out loud and I can still see it. Aunt Pat I love you and will see you in good time. I promise.

Oh what to say... There are no words to express the deep sorrow that I feel. The loss of such a tremondous, wonderful, amazing woman leaves one speechless. I have known Patty my entire life because she was family and part of what I call the 3 musketeers. My mom, Barb and Patty. That is the way it has always been. That is all that I know. The 3 of them. So different yet so alike. They just all fit so perfectly. How? Who knows. It's so hard to think it could be any differnt. I am grateful though for all the times I got to share with her and the 3 amigos. It will never be the same now but really is it ever after something like this.
What I do know is that Patty was always there for you with her big beautiful smile that lit up the room. I can't think of a time when Patty wasn't smiling. I can remember all the times when I was a kid and we would all hang out at her house, running and screaming and she never said a word. Mom and her just sat talking away in the kitchen. Patty always brightened up anyones day. She had the biggest heart of anyone I have ever known. She gave so much of herself to so many people that no matter what she will always stay with us in our hearts because of the love and the times that she gave to each and everyone of us. I know for me she will continue to live on in my heart. I will miss you and all that you have done for me and my family especially my mom. My prayers and my love go out to Joe, Mark, and Tami.
With Love and Prayers Always

We had the pleasure of meeting Pat and her family around 16 years ago when we moved into our neighborhood and became fast friends with her sister, Sue and her family. Pat always treated our family just as though we belonged there - that we were also family. We'll always remember her great laugh and the wonderful bond she shared with her sister. She was a great woman and we will remember her always. Our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.

I can remember some of the stories she would tell me about my brother Roger and her husband JoJo playing ball together. It was a good laugh.
There wasn't a day that went by when she could make me laugh about something.
She was a good listener and friend as well as a great colleague. She will be missed tremendously.

I have worked with Pat and been friends with her for over 22 years. She was a sweet, dear person. We talked every day and always updated each other on our families and personal life outside of work. We shared a love for animals and very often talked about our dogs. No matter what kind of issue or problem we discussed, be it work-related or personal, she would always leave me feeling better about the situation. I am so fortunate to have known her and will greatly miss her friendship and smiling face. I extend my deepest sympathy to Joe, Mark, Tami and her four grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.
