I am very sorry for the lost of a great women! I first meant Virgina as her beautician. She quickly became a friend and did hands on for my neck and shoulders. A common problem with my trade. Even though I have moved out of state, she will never be forgotten. I will miss her dearly.

It was an honor and a privilege for me to have known both Virginia and Albert Hann. When I was 23 years old, I landed a job at the Fulton County Chamber of Commerce, where Virginia was a bookkeeper and the rest is history. Never having children of her own, I became "her kid" ... as she would put it. I resided a few blocks from the Hanns and visited them quite frequently. She left me with many fond memories. Not only did she become a mother to me, but my entire family. She loved me unconditionally, encouraged me often, and never gave up on me. She made me feel very loved and special. She is everything that I wish to be. Not only is she my role model but my hero. I will miss her dearly. Jackie

It was our privilege to have Virginia as our dear and loyal friend for many years. Glenn knew her growing up together in Gloversville and valued her friendship of course, when she made those famous Virginia desserts and brought them to him in his later years, she was a VIP at our house, for sure! They are both now at peace in God's care.
Virginia worked with me in the mid-1980's at the Fulton County Chamber of Commerce, we shared a love of antiques, and got together or talked often -- even after Glenn and I retired and moved to Florida. I was in Gloversville and visited her at home just a month ago, after learning her diagnosis.
She sat in "Albert's chair" and reminisced about their years together. Even then, when someone came to her door who "needed one of Virginia's special massages," she was quick to offer her help.
We do not meet many like Virginia in our lifetime. I was blessed to have her as my friend, and her wealth of friends in the community, her "church family," her cousin and nieces likewise have been enriched by her thoughtful caring, friendship and generosity. She was a very special person, and will be missed by all of us.
