Dear Leila & Family,
Our memories of Carl and you will not be forgotten. They bring us much comfort, joy, smiles that we treasure - 4th of July, picnics, Carl's unbeatable jokes, his kindness to Mrs. J,Grandma Ziskin, Gaga Wham - and this is only the beginning. Our family will remember yours long after "us old folk" are gone.
We are grateful to have sat with you at Rosemary's wedding the night before you left for the West. What a lovely visit to remember!
So now that Carl is "just around the bend", we will remember the phenominal legacy he left, as one who gave so much to others.
We send you all our best heartfelt wishes. Bert & Liz

Dear Jim, Tim, Del, John and Family-
We were very saddened to hear of your Dad's passing. In reading the obituary, it really hit home what a wonderful legacy your Dad has left behind for all those he touched. I personally have many, many fond memories of him when we were growing up together whiffle ball in the backyard, camping in Northville, Pershing Road and Locust Avenue. He always made our visits feel like "home".
Our prayers and warmest wishes are with you.

Dear Carl, Jim, Del and families:
Please accept these sincerest condolences from my dad and me upon the passing of your dad.
Unfortunately, neither of us will be able to attend the memorial service. I am committed to move my daughter into her apartment for college, and dad is confined in a cardiac rehab having recently undergone triple bypass surgery.
However, we wish to take this moment to note the passing of a truly honorable man, and we both want you to know that we consider ourselves lucky to have known Carl.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.
Sincerely,
Jed and Jim Conboy

CARL, DAD, POPS - WAS A GREAT MAN AND I ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO SEEING HIM COME INTO OUR OFFICE, ALWAYS WITH A SMILE AND GREAT HUMOR, UNLESS HE OWED IRS. I CAN REMEMBER HIM COMING IN DURING THE WINTER MONTHS, AFTER SNOWBLOWING, WEARING HIS BIG JACKET AND HAT, WITH THE EAR MUFFS AND AGAIN PROUD, HAPPY AND SMILING.
ANOTHER FOND MEMORY WAS THE YEAR THAT DAD AND MOM LEILA CAME INTO GIVE ME SOME GOOD NEWS, ALONG WITH WHAT THEY CALLED BAD NEWS. THEY NEEDED TO TELL ME THAT THEY NEED TO CHANGE ACCOUNTS, FOR ESTATE TAX REASONS. AT THAT TIME THEY GAVE ME A BEATIFUL CRYSTAL CLOWN, WHICH HAS A FAVORITE SPOT IN OUR CURIO - NATURALLY WE REMAINED GOOD FRIENDS - WHAT CLASS. THANKS.
