Mrs. Persse and family,
I was terribly saddened to hear of Mr. Persse's passing. I was the receptionist at the wound center at Amsterdam Memorial when Mr. Persse used to come for his treatments. The two of you were always so jovial and kind, despite all he was going through medically, and I respected you both so much for that.
Mrs. Persse, you were a loving and devoted caregiver to Mr. Persse, and he was lucky to have you!!
I am honored to have known you both...and I pray that your memories of happy times helps to ease your pain.
May he rest in peace, in the arms of his Lord.

My sincere condolences are extended. My husband and I knew your dad for many years and I remember fondly our trips to the Saratoga races a Kiwanis activity with Bob and Emma Mae. Bob was also our insurance agent for many, many years.He contributed a great deal to the Fonda-Fultonville community.

Bob, my husband, and Gurr Berry among others, all played together as children attending the "one room" Berryville School. Coincidentally, these three also went in the Navy to serve during WWII.
