To the Ley Family,
I can remember your dad as a young child. He and my parents were on the village board together and he would come to our house. He was a very kind and respected gentlemen. I never remember him as being unkind ever. You were blessed to have him for so many years. He will be missed. It was just about a month ago that I saw him on the street and he waved hello to me. Take care.

Dear Diane, I was sorry to get your message about your father. Just knowing you and hearing of the the relationship you have with the rest of your family and the way you told me about your trips and activities with your nieces and nephews, your dad must have been a wonderful man who brought your large clan up with family and moral values that you now share with them and that are missing in so many other families. May God Bless him and all of you.

Anya and I want to convey our deepest sympathies to the entire Ley family for their loss. Although we did not ever meet Charles, we followed his later years through his son Russell and know that he had his good days and his bad days. Although the passage of time will never entirely erase the pain of his loss, hopefully the happy memories of his time will come forward and comfort those left behind.
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

Cindy and Family, I know how difficult it must be to loose your father. He has a long legacy that he leaves behind. I remember all the good fun we had at your home and the summer place in Speculator when we were in the prime of our lives. Your Dad was such a caring and kind man. I am sure you have many fond memories that will only grow as time passes. My prayers are with all of you. He'll now be another special angel to look over his family from another place. God bless. My deepest sympathy to all of you on your father's passing. Although none of you know me personally, I wanted to let you know what an inspiration your father was to me. I am currently the Treasurer for the Village of Broadalbin and I would not be where I am today were it not for Henry's help. He was a great teacher and his kindness to me over the years will never be forgotten. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help you through this difficult time.
Sincerely,
