Obituary of Gary Paul Kietzmann
Gary Paul Kietzmann, Jr., 22, of Florida Avenue, Amsterdam, died unexpectedly Sunday, October 15, 2006 at St. Mary?s Hospital following a motor vehicle accident 11 days prior.
Born in Amsterdam, New York on May 26, 1984 a son of Christine A. Scott Kietzmann and the late Gary Kietzmann, Sr.
He was a life long area resident and was a graduate of Broadalbin-Perth High School Class of 2002. During high school Gary was in the high school band and was a member of the bowling team. His bowling team went to the State Regional Championships and took 2nd place in the state. He later attended Fulton-Montgomery Community College and was in the Drama Club. He enjoyed acting in various plays through FMCC and was currently involved in a production. He also enjoyed cars, motorcycles, snowmobiles and ATVs. He continued to be an avid bowler and bowled at the Imperial Bowling Center in Amsterdam in the Wednesday night mixed league.
He is survived by his Fiancée Elizabeth Costa of Amsterdam; his mother, Christine A. Kietzmann of Amsterdam; a sister, Beth-Anne C. Kietzmann of Amsterdam; maternal grandmother, Mildred Bramer of Amsterdam and maternal grandfather, Thomas L. Scott of Perth, New York. Aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Kietzmann, Sr. in 2004, maternal grandfather, John Bramer and paternal grandparents, Howard and Doris Kietzmann.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at 10:00A.M. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam. Interment will be in Perth Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday Today from 4:00-8:00P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Fulton Montgomery Community College Drama Club, c/o the funeral home.
