Dear Lorin, Barbara and David,
Please accept my sincerest sympathies at your Mom's passing. I am sorry to say that I was not aware that your father passed away in 2002 either. I don't often get news from the Amsterdam area.
I do miss the old neighborhood and I fondly remember jumping the back yard fence to go to your Mom's Cub Scout den meeting. I will say a prayer for both your mom and dad.
I hope all is well with you and your families.
Sincerely,
John Ralbovsky

Dear David, Lorin & Family,
I was sorry to hear about your Mom's death. I haven't seen her since moving to Loudonville in 1978 but easy to recall all the good times we had together in scouting, as neighbors, Galway Lake, PTA and others. She was a good friend.
May memories keep your loved one always in your heart and mind.
With Deepest Sympathy .

Dear Lorin, David, and Barbara,
My mom was over to my house for dinner tonight and shared the news about your mom's passing. She is even reasonably computer savvy and pointed me to the Betz web site. I hope my note finds each of you well. John and family are in Bridgeport Ct and Russ and family are in Colonie and my wife and I are here in Niskayuna all doing well. Anyway, I have many fond memories of your mom and dad, Amsterdam, scouting, and Galway.
Take care, thinking about you.

I am sorry that my Aunt Doris has passed on rather suddenly although we knew it was possible. She was always a nice caring person. I will always remember her as a lady who was very involved with many things and she accomplised a lot. She lived a full life. Living a distance away, I will miss the long letters she would send me. Yes, I really will miss her. There were many happy times in the past visiting her and my Grandmother and my cousins especially on Christmas. These will always be good memories for me. Now may she be at peace and rest. May all who knew her take comfort in this.
With love and fond memories,
Donna Smart
