Dear Vivien and Lois,
I just heard the sad news today via an email from Gladys, received here in Scottsdale, Az. where I am every winter. Hopefully we can get together next lake season and reminisce about the past good times. Hank was special indeed, as are you two.
Love,
Nancy Muskin

Viv, we were saddened and surprised to read of Hank's passing. What a friendly guy and always with a sharp wit and always kidding someone. What a nice way to live.
One of my favorite memories was Hank helping me sail the boat to the campsite at the end of the season a couple of years ago. We had a great time.
We look forward to seeing you out and about. God will give you His peace in ways that you can recognize and understand.

Dearest Mrs. Jacobson,
Having spent the last several days visiting our daughter, I just managed to 'catch up' with the newspapers this morning and learned the very sad news of your husband's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I truly enjoyed each and every one of your visits to Saltsman's and can honestly say that seeing your name on our reservation list always brightened my day. Mr. Jacobson was such an outgoing gentleman and always had a sweet compliment to share everyone of our waitresses enjoyed serving at your table. He will be missed by all of us at Saltsman's. Please know that my heart is with you during this very difficult period in your life. With deepest sympathy and the comfort of a long distance warm hug and the extended prayers of Jim.
Love,
Tammie Subik

Dear Vivian:
Roseann and I were saddened to hear of Hank's passing while we were visiting in Virginia. You were among the first to make welcome upon my arrival in Northville and Hank was always interested in my progress. Hank's affability and pleasant greetings were always welcome during our post office encounters. Please know how much his friendship was valued and how much he will be missed by those fortunate enough to have known him. Our deepest sympathies are with you at this difficult time.

Vivan. We just wanted to let you know how sorry we were to hear about the passing of Henry. The two of you always brighten up our day and we all thought of you as friends more than we did as customers. He will be fondly remembered and please let us know if we can be of help to you in anyway.

We are deeply saddened by Hank's passing. We loved him and enjoyed his company so much anytime we were lucky enough to see him. Now he is with my father,Sam, and I'm sure they are entertaining each other with their stories. Much love to Vivian and the Jacobson family.

My mom, Clementine Militcih, worked for the Jacobsens many, many years ago. She always spoke fondly of Hank and Vivien and remembered him warmly. I know that anytime that I ran into Hank somewhere in town he always spoke or made a joke about he knew me when I was little.
My thoughts and sympathies are with you. God Bless.
