Dad, so many images come to mind
whenever I speak your name;
It seems without you in my life
things have never been the same.
What happened to those lazy days
when I was just a child;
When my life was consumed in you
in your love, and in your smile.

when I always looked to you;

you could make my gray skies blue.

Happy Father's Day Dad!! I just wanted you to know that I think about you everyday, and I miss you more and more each day that does by. This was also my first Father's day and it was a very special day for me. Now I know how it is to be a father and I want to thank you for everything you taught me. You have made me the good father I am today with my son and your grandson. I really wish you were here to experience all the fun Pietro is. I am sure you 2 would have a lot of fun together. My dear husband,
I think I am still in shock, I feel so numb and still can't believe what has happened. Most people say it gets better with time and that I still have my memories. And I do have my memories. I will never forget you and all that you stood for. You know I never liked to discuss your illness in anything but a positive way and I never told you how brave you were. But you were a very brave man and went through far more than anyone should have to. Many of my memories and thoughts are too private to mention here, but I would like to say how much everyone has been here for me. The kids, Christine, your family, our neighbors and friends. We will always be close with your family so that the children and any grandchildren can better understand where there roots are. Thank you for everything and know that everything you believed in will be carried on.

Dad,
There are not enough words to explain how much I miss you and love you. Throughout the years we had our ups and downs. I am thankful for every single one of them. I know you only wanted the best for me and Natalie. I am going to miss everything about you Dad. I will miss the laughs you gave to us, I will miss you on the Bocce court, but most of all I will miss giving you a hug and a kiss and telling you I LOVE YOU. You really meant so much to me and you always will. I know now you can't be my Best Man at my Wedding, but to me you are my Best Man no matter what or where you are. I want to thank you Dad for all the memories that we can all share now. I know we might not be able to see each other right now, but I know you are with us spiritually. Someday we will meet again face to face. The First thing I will do is give you a hug and kiss and tell you that I LOVE YOU!

Dad,
I just wanted to let you know that I miss you terribly and love you dearly with all my heart. I know you can see all of us and I do feel your presence at times. I along with many others miss your sense of humor. You always made us laugh and we will never forget that! We have many good memories to talk and think about that is helping us get through this tough time. I am saddened and angry but I know that you are in a better place and you can see us and I know that you still have something to say about everything, like you always did. Lynette, Peter & Natalie-
Although I lost touch with Lynette about 11 years ago when I left the Tax Dept., I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the death of your beloved husband and father, Peter. I only had the pleasure of meeting him a few times, but Lynette talked about him constantly and it was obvious that they loved each other dearly. He and Peter and Natalie were her whole life! I want you to know, Lynette, that my heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Mrs. Russo, Pete, and Nat,
No words can express how sorry I am for your loss. I have known you all for about 25 years now and I will never forget Mr. Russo telling me, at maybe 10 years old, that I should have a cup of espresso because,\\\"it will put hair on your chest\\\" He was a good man.
