Obituary of Hilda Marie Blanchard

Mrs. Hilda Marie Blanchard, age 98, of Gloversville, passed away at the Fulton County Residential Health Care Facility on February 3, 2007. Born in Northville, NY on September 26, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Rene? Perkins Harvey. She married Edward Blanchard on July 4, 1928. He pre-deceased her in 1997. She was employed as a glove maker at the former Daniel Hayes Glove Co. and also Perrella Glove Co. Mrs. Blanchard was a past member of the former First Baptist Church in Gloversville. Survivors include her children: Donald Marilyn Blanchard of Gloversville and Douglas Joan Blanchard of Coupville, Washington. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Lorraine Tim White, Donald Julie Blanchard Jr., David Sandra Blanchard all of Gloversville, Lynn Christopher Collins of Newport Richey, FL, Daniel Melanie Blanchard of Greenville, SC, and Amie Jay Seelow of Coupville, Washington. Hilda leaves twelve great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She was pre-deceased by two sisters, Pauline Place and Ruth Black. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville in the spring. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Mt.
