Dear Edie and Dennis, We are so sorry about Sal. He was such a special person. We wanted to come to the viewing but we are both quite sick with the flu and could not even make Aunt Dot's husbands funeral service. Please know our prayers and thoughts are with you. Hope to see you soon.
Love Dolly & Mike Pasquarella

I rember Sal as far back as the sixties when Dennis and myself were in the scouts together. Sal gave all and all he asked in return was to do your best. I have seen him from time to time in the past few years and he has NEVER changed. He was one of the most giving people ever and he was a great influence on my and many many other boys spiritual and ethical upbringings. He will be missed. Steve Hentnik former member pack and troop 40.

Edie; Thank you for the many years you shared Sal with us. He was an inspiration and mentor for hundreds of scouts, myself included. I still cherish my religious medal that Sal guided me through and then years later he tutored my two sons. May God be with you and Dennis, may you have strength and above all remember the Sal through his acts of kindness has conquered death.

Unfortunatly my relationship with Sal was short lived, however within the past couple of months I have had the privelge to get to know Sal. Sal was a very bright man with a spetacular since of humor. He never failed to put a smile on my face. It was always a pleasure to have his company. God Bless you Sal ...

At times like these life may seem unbearable, stay in there and stay strong. Its ok to grieve and know it will get better with time. You guys are like family to me I love all of you, and if there is anything that I could do for you please let me know.

I was the former Senior District Executive for the Sir William Johnson District. It was my pleasure to work with Sal for many years. Sal was dedicated to the program and to the boys. Although we had a few disagreements on the methods of delivering the program, Sal never wavered in his desire and drive to deliver the best possible program to the boys.
His passing will leave a void that will hard to fill. Thank you Sal for everything that you did and the few things that you even taught me.

My most heartfelt sympathies are extended to the Landrio family. I had the honor of meeting Sal while working at Nathan Littauer Hospital. The world is now a much sadder place without his ready smile and hearty greeting for whomever crossed his path.

To the Landrio Family, I am so sorry for your loss, Sal was a wonderfull person, I remember as a kid I use to work at St. Mary's Rectory. And I always had a visual of Mr. Landrio in his Scout Uniform and it always stayed with me. I was impressed with his dedication to the Scouts. You never see anyone with that kind of dedecation anymore. I know that Amsterdam has lost one of its best. The Landrio Family is in my prayers. Nancy Booth Fuhs
