Dear Gael, Bren and Dot,
I was saddened to hear the news of Ellis' passing. I have very fond memories of him when I was growing up. When we stayed the summers at Sac and some winter vacations in Amsterdam. Ellis was always fun to be around and to listen to his great stories. In the later years, I enjoyed seeing him and sharing memories. May you all be peaceful in this time. Love, Peggy

I was really sorry to hear of Ellis passing. I have many fond memories of him. I most remember Ellis as a wonderful storyteller of his life experiences. These include stories about his airplane, his boats, Cornell, his trips and his friends and family. I really enjoyed sailing with Ellis. I looked forward to seeing Ellis every summer and visiting with him. My sincere condolences.

The sweetness and kindness that radiated from Ellis's face thru his smiling blue eyes and face was a blessing to me. He was a dutiful, and loving son and brother. His extreme love, devotion, to family and community was at a high level not often seen. Here was a man with high standards, great wisdom, and a people person, charming and gallant. It is altogether fitting for Ellis, to have left us just before Purim. May this be a reminder; at this season how much Ellis enjoyed a good time.

Dear Aunt Dot,
Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with you always. So sorry we were unable to attend the service for Ellis. We are both quite sick and do not want to be around anyone for awhile yet. Hopefully we will all be well soon and can get together. All our love....
