We are so sorry to here of Joe's passing. Some of the fondest memories of my childhood include working with Joe and Bob at the summer program. He has left an indelible mark on Fonda and all that have met him.

Joe, I say Joe because he would always correct me when I called him Mr. Ault, would greet me with his ?firm? handshake every time I would see him. The last time I talked to him getting ice cream at Stewarts, I joked with him that he thought he was going to get away without shaking my hand and he smiled and shook my hand just as he always did. When I think back to memories of Fonda Joe will always be part of them, at the gas station, bringing the bus of kids to Pine Lake for swimming during the summer, getting his newspaper, first at Jack Phillips? and then Stewart?s. Joe would always share a story with me, his time in the Navy, training with the kids at Tryon in boxing and of course when he and his brother ran the garage. He was always a tuff guy with a heart as big as the room he was in; he will be a missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you?Bill
