To Mary's family,
I worked with Mary ages ago at Price Chopper. She had such a warm personality and smile. We spoke on that Monday at Eckerd and I told her that she looked fantastic and she said she was feeling great. I was so shocked when I read the paper. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies and may your memories lessen your grief.

I am so very saddened to hear of Mary's passing. I went to HS with Mary in Galway. I also enjoyed our visits at Walmart and the pharmacy when I'd get perscriptions filled for the children. She always made the time to at least say, "Hi, Carol!" when I walked in. It was nice when she would be out of the photo lab and we could "catch up" in the aisles while I waited for my scripts to be filled. I am terribly sorry for your loss. I did not learn of Mary's passing until late last night Friday or I would have come to pay my respects.

To Joey, Sue and Family,
It's very hard to put in to words just how great a person Mary was, and the great impact the she left on everyone that she met.
We always looked forward to seeing Mary walking around at the races with the "kids" and Mary always making sure that we always had something to eat, when we helped out at the races when we could.
Keep on smiling Mary, you always made sure everyone always did. She was a very special person, that will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts are with you, and we'll keep on racing with you in our hearts.

From my heart to Mary's husband and family, I met Mary over 15 years ago, I had the pleasure of bowling with her at Imperial Lanes when the Wolf's still owned it, and a friendship thus grew. I want to in some way convey my sincere sadness and thoughts to you, and know that the only thing that could ever top the feelings of loss and of missing Mary, is the abundance of joy and love she always gave to her friends, and it was an absolute honor to have known her, and be in the light of just one of her smiles.

Joe, Uncle John and Aunt Flo, Sue and Tara:
I sat here this morning and read through what everyone has written. Obviously spent some time with Kelly's and my brother's note. Geography creates such huge gaps and barriers. The last time I was home, if I recall correctly, was your wedding Joe, to Mary.
I was there is spirit a few weeks ago, when Mike came to visit. Many calls from him...a short opportunity to speak with Uncle John, and then the many pictures. I have talked with Mike each day this week and truly sense how stunned he is, and yet truly greatful that he had the Memorial Day visit.
All of you stay strong, come together, and enjoy each other's company. Please attempt to see this very difficult time as a celebration of Mary's life and recognize the joy and happiness that Mary was experiencing and give to others, that everyone who has written talks about. Our thoughts and prayers are with you from way down here in Houston, TX.

Dear Joe and the Mullarkey family,
Please accept my sincere condolences. I am deeply saddened to hear about the unexpected death of Mary. Mary was a great friend of mine during high school. We worked together at Price Choppers and had many fun adventures. I moved away for college and haven't lived in NY since 1990. I have seen Mary occasionally these last few years. It?s always good to talk with her and see her smile.
I was just in Amsterdam on the 22nd last Friday visiting my father. I was going to contact Mary that day, but decided to wait until July when I will be traveling around the northeast longer. I extremely regret that decision now. I'm sorry that Mary's life was cut so short. I don't doubt that she is playing and cuddling with tons of animals in heaven now. I'm glad that I have fond memories of Mary. I truly miss her. Mary was a terrific friend.

My thoughts are with you on this surprising and sad turn of events. I?m so glad to have had the chance last month to be in Amsterdam and visit with Mary for the first time in many years. She was happy and had turned her health and lifestyle around and I admired her commitment. Joe, you never left her side that whole night. During our conversations, it was easy to see you two were close; each dependent upon the other in all ways. I?ve tried to put myself in your shoes these last few days and can not. I know you will be strong and find your way through this.
Having all of us get together that night, on a moments notice, for me, was resurgence in the importance of family. We laughed with and at each other more that night than in our entire lifetime. I will never forget how lucky I was to be there and wish I was there with all of you now.

Our condolences to Joe and the Mullarkey family. Mary, I have known you from years ago when you were a wee little tot. I have many memories of you growing up at my moms. Also racing memories that we shared with Joe racing. I'm sure you are with Hondo, Steve Bidwell, Bob Van Aernam and Skip Pabis talking racing and having many laughs. You will truly be missed, but we are so lucky to have all the memories from the past years.
Rest in peace!!!
Love and hugs,
Sandy & Bob
