Erika, Jason, and relatives,
I am very sorry to hear about your loss, I have known you both for a long time and would like to offer my deepest condolences. I will be sure to remember you and your familiesin my prayers and am sure your father now rests in eternal peace at the Lords side. Although I am sure it is a very painful time we must remember that death is a part of life, and not the end. It is a mystery which we should not dwell upon. hi Ann, and children. i really miss Gene, THE MAN WAS MY FRIEND. we talk about him often in work,we all miss him very much.i can not get him out of my mind, i truly am very sorry.i quess the lord wanted Gene more than us,but we will see him again, thank god.
Gene and i shared a special bond, when we talked and laughed at some of the guys in work, we had different saying and jokes on the guys. OH how i miss my friend......

I was shocked to hear about the passing of Gene. Although it has been a long time since I have seen you and Gene, I still remember him from the times he would visit you at the Infirmary. Ann, Jason, Erica, and Jake.
I will always remember Jason, Gene, my grandpa and I hunting the state land on Hughes Rd when I just got my license. He would always tell Jason he was stomping through the woods like Sasquatch.
Since my father passed away before I got my license, Gene taught me most of what I know about hunting.
I will never forget him, his wonderful personality, and the lifelong lessons he has taught me.

To Jake & His Family,
I'm deeply sorry for your loss in your family. I met Gene through Jake playing on his baseball team. I'd see him at most of our games, and he always had advice for everyone on the field.. and we would all listen. It's like everytime I looked towards the on deck circle.. Sorry to hear about Gene. We grew up together and had a lot of good times together. He and the good times will be remembered forever. We hung out together with other friends on the South Side. We did many things including hunting, fishing, camping, playing cards,playing pool. We were never bored. I will remember him always. Once again, may I say, sorry for your loss.
