Obituary of George P. Maslak

George P. Maslak, 70, passed away with his loving family by his side Tuesday February 13, 2018. George was born on April 16, 1947in Amsterdam, NY. His is the son of the late Raymond And Florence Maslak of Amsterdam. George was a Graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School he then attended Fulton Montgomery Community College. George worked for Mohasco Carpet Company for 24 years, and was employed as an IT Systems Programmer at Emory St. Joseph's Hospital of Atlanta for 22 years. George is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dianne Maslak, sons; Danny and Brian (Sheri) Maslak, grandchildren; Taylor, Michael, Sarah, and Grace, sister; Julie (Robert) Baia, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. George loved being surrounded by his family, he loved Notre Dame Football, Duke Basketball, and walking his beloved companion Shadow. Relatives and Friends are invited to call at the Betz, Rossi, and Bellinger Family Funeral Home 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010, on Monday February 19, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 11:15a.m. at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 39 St John St, Amsterdam, NY 12010 with Rev. Pat Ianotti the Celebrant.
