To Deb & the rest of the Gatto family,
I found out about Danny, and couldn't help but feel sorrow for you and your family. He was way too young to have been taken from you... very sorry for your loss.....
I never knew Danny as a man, only as a teen.... I can only imagine the kind of person that he had grown into.... and upon reading some of the shared stories here, I suspect he was quite the "man's man" to have as a friend.... again, my heart goes out to you all.
I hope that all is well for you in your life....

I could still hear Danny's raspy voice it was one of a kind. He had such a wonderful heart. I remember one day when I came over and we were going to go out for a ride he insisted on making me spaghetti with meatballs he was such a nut. We would sit on the back porch at his house and he would just ask me questions looking for answers to certain things in life. It is getting harder to write this as my vision is getting blurry with tears.. .Love &Respect I will miss you my friend...

To the Gatto family,
Monty, Joe, Anne Marie, Debbie, and families. I have fond memories of watching Danny ride his little bike, falling, getting right back up, sometimes crying now and then. He always wanted to hang out with us "older kids". He never backed down from a fight, saw that as brave. I remember him as a good kid with a big heart. So sorry for your loss. May your loving memories get you all through the difficult days ahead. You're all in my prayers.

Danny's passing is very sad, all my love and prayers to the family!! I read a poem i would like to share. It's called "To those I love and those who loved me" When I am gone, release me, let me go. I have so many things to see and do. You musn't tie yourself to me with tears, be happy that we had so many years. I gave you my Love, you can only guess, how much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown, But now it's time I traveled on alone. So grieve awhile for me, if grieve you must, then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for a little while that we must part, so bless the memories within your heart. I won't be far away, for life goes on. So, if you need me, call and I will come. Dear Debbie,
Just saw you in December after all these years. So sorry about Danny. He was special. He worked on our house years ago and came back to fix what needed to be all by himself. No helpers. That's the way he was. May God Bless you and his Family.
