Connie and family,
I am very saddened to hear of the sudden passing of your dad. I don't need to tell you what a great guy he was. I still remember when he would bring you to Stan's in Broadalbin and you would sit there and have a "Shirley Temple" and he would visit with all of us. He always told a great story and we always waited for him to stop to tell us another one! He was there for me too when I would have an "unruly" customer, he would come to the rescue, what a guy! You will have to sing a special song for him, you have one of the most beautiful voices on this earth! Please take care and all the good memories you have will keep him close at heart.

Connie and Tom;
May all the wonderful memories begin to heal the pronounced grief you are feeling at this time. There is no doubt your Dad has earned his spot in heaven at the head of the class! As we have said before, we are all so fortunate to have had him in our lives. I am so thankful he and I were able to reconnect and share some wonderful memories from the past in the last few years. I remember your Dad never shed a tear when he was sad or upset, but he sure wiped many away when he was laughing and happy. Let your tears follow the same pattern. I just let a few tears flow when I read Tom's guestbook signing as it is such a true description of Bill's wonderful character and such a showing of strength to help you thru this sad time. May God's strength guide and bless all of you.
I will be in touch.

Sincerest condolences to Bill's
family and friends.
I first met Bill when I moved to the village of Mayfield in the early 70's. As a patron of the
Mayfield Grill, I shared more than
a couple of beers with him. I always admired Bill for his service
to his country, his work ethic, and
and love to have fun attitude. Growing older, I saw Bill infrequenly but on those occasions he was always cordial and would stop to have a few words about times past and present and always
with a laugh or smile. God Bless you Bill..

Don't know if you remember me or not but I am sending my condolences to you and your family. I am very sorry for the loss of Uncle Bill. He will be missed. He was a wonderful guy and served our country with pride. I know my father thinks alot of his brothers and sisters. He mentioned to me just yesterday that he and Uncle Bill were real close for a time. I am sorry I can't make it out to N.Y. for the visitation and funeral but know our prayers and thoughts are with you all. I hope God will get you all through this difficult time. wish that everyone in this world had at least one chance to meet my father-in-law. He taught me that you put the needs of others before your own. The hours we spent together working at my home. All the clambakes,fairs,and partys we attended. He never spoke bad about anyone,rarely raised his voice. Treated Connie and our children and myself like gold. I will miss his smile and his hearty laugh. Hearing that big diesel pull into my driveway. No matter how tired he was he just kept going. I always thanked him for all he did for us. Someday I will see him again.....I only hope that everything starts on the first try in heaven,no machines breakdown,fuel is cheap,and there is no rainouts on workdays. Take care dad, I am truly a better man because of you.....
Love always and forever,
Tom
