Obituary of Paul Michael Taber
Paul Michael Taber, 45, of Glen Avenue passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 12, 2007 at St. Mary?s Hospital. He was born in Amsterdam on February 14, 1962 a son of Harold and MaryAnn Tallman Taber. Paul was raised and attended schools in the Amsterdam area having graduated from Amsterdam High School in 1980.
In earlier years, Paul was employed with Liberty Enterprises as a House Supervisor and later as a manager. He then worked as a Sales Manager for Alpin Haus in Amsterdam and Clifton Park where he was employed at the current time. He enjoyed country music, having attended concerts recently, playing cards, spending time with his sons, occasionally camping and fishing with them, playing golf often, playing softball, and, of course, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle which he was well known for.
He was also known for his patient, kind-hearted manner. Paul was hard-working, loyal and kind, always putting others ahead of himself. He will be sadly missed by all of his family, co-workers, and many friends.
Paul?s loving family includes his mother, MaryAnn Taber of Amsterdam, his father, Harold Taber of Delanson, two sons, Daniel and Steven Taber of Amsterdam, his beloved companion, Diane Sollecito of Amsterdam, his sister, Melinda Taber of Amsterdam, his brother, John Susan Taber of Amsterdam, nieces and nephews, Jessica, Brett, Andrew, Amy, Kristin and Katie, and one great-niece, Ani. Two aunts, two uncles, a great-aunt and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 1:45PM on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam. A Funeral Mass will follow at 2:30 PM at St. John The Baptist Roman Catholic Church with Fr. David Mickiewicz as celebrant. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends this evening from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the funeral home. Donations in Paul?s memory may be made to Montgomery County S.P.C.A., P.O.
