Today I found out that Mr. Taber had passed away and it has been several months. I just cannot believe it. I was a friend of Dan, one of his sons and Mr. Taber was a great and loving father and treated all of his childrens friends as his own. Back in our younger years I remember walking through that door and the smile on his face was just indescribable! He would welcome anyone with open arms! He will be greatly missed but never ever forgotten!

I just learned of your passing and I am so shocked and saddened.. I remember meeting you like it was yesterday at Backyard Jacks and we become such good friends.. The day when Jonathan was still alive and you came and plowed my driveway out Christmas day of 2002 in Fort Johnson... I know we had lost touch but I know we ran into eachother about months ago and I was so glad to see how happy you were. You were there for me through the passing of my boys and I will always be grateful to you and remember you in my heart.. You were a very very dear friend and I will remember you always with a smile... may you rest in peace Pauly.. God bless you , your family and Diane....

Diane, John, Dan, Steve and the entire Taber/Sollicito family:
We are heartbroken at the loss of Paul. Just last weekend, my cousin Jim Pabis and I were laughing over a memory of Paul's stag party. I will never forget Paul pushing the boys in the stroller by my old garage, wrenching on his 74 Sportster, and having a laugh while at the gym. He was a good man, and will be missed by many. You are all in our thoughts and prayers, and may your memories of Paul bring you comfort.

I'm greatly saddened to hear of Paul's passing. As a fellow classmate, he had a unique way of touching many people over the years. The last several years seem to find us at the gym, always greeted with his big smile and a sure laugh. May God watch over him always and place his healing hand on everyone that will miss his special way.

Over the years I've gone to "the Gym" in the Alpin Haus Plaza and many times Paul was there exercising along with the same group of us.He was always fun to talk with as we helped each other get our workouts done. The last time we talked he was very happy, excited and proud about his son finishing boot camp and he also talked about his other son attending Siena with the same pride.I know he was happy with his life with you Diane and everytime I see a nicely shaved head at the gym I will do a double take hoping to see him...Lorraine

What a sad jolt to see 'Rubs' taking off ahead of so many of us, but a free bird sometimes goes on it's own way, ahead of those who loved and cherished the friendship, only to flock together when all can. Tabes, the memories flood back from our childhood schooldays through the years of bonding as brothers in fun and seeing each other grow into adults and parents. Who'd a thunk it! Our condolences to your family and loved ones, so fly on brother and we'll all flock again 'round the fire to toast what great times we had.
Love ya,
Van and the Crew

Dear Diane,Daniel,Steven And Family:
Please accept my sincere sympathy on the tragic death of your Companion and Father Paul Michael.
No doubt this sad event has been very disturbing for you and for the many other people who knew and cared for Paul. Diane you have alway's been a Wonderful Person....and a friend I will never forget since we were both in elementary school up until our graduation in High School. My brother in law Steven Quill worked with Paul at Alpin Haus and said nothing but wonderful thing's about him. I am thinking of you and your family in this time of loss and bereavement. I am very saddened to hear the news. Although I did not know Paul, I know how much you cared about him, and I know you will miss him deeply after your years together.
I will hold you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Please know that there are many like me who are thinking of you.
My Deepest Sympathy....
With Warm Regards,
