Obituary of Cheryl S. Yost

Mrs. Cheryl S. Yost, 69, of Mayfield, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 11, 2008, surrounded by her family after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 24, 1938 in Sydney, NY, the daughter of the late Mortina Brooks and Bill Brooks. She was a member of Perth Bible Church. Cheryl is survived by her loving husband, Leland and seven children; Jackie Pagano Tony, Jody Eschler Gwen and Jamie Mroczko, all of Mayfield, Denise Lemieux of Hickory, NC; Jon Eschler Kathy of Noblesville, IN; James Eschler Nicki of Northville and Jennifer Baldwin Scott of Mayfield; 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; and cousins Carol Blowers and Gail Carter. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Yost, in 1990. A private funeral service will take place at the convenience of the family at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville. There will be no calling hours. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial service which will take place on Saturday, January 26th at 2 pm at Perth Bible Church, Perth. Interment will take place in the spring at Union Rural Cemetery, Mayfield.
