3 months have passed and I still miss you so and feel the loss so deeply. I suppose I always will. I miss being able to just chat with you about nothing paticularly important. Just knowing that you were available to listen was always enough for me. I miss your smile, hug, and kiss that you always greeted me with. I miss sitting in a crowd of people, far from your side, and watch as so many others would seek your attention to share just a moment of your time. I miss having coffee with you. I miss being offered a cookie that you would always make but seldom eat. I miss saying "I Love You"

MEMORIES... My time that was spent with Cheryl was at "Beyond the Song" in Cherry Valley, New York in July of 2004 and 2005. Jody and I had taken some of the youth group to serve over 15 musicians and their families meals and snacks for the three day music festivals. We would put in 16 hour days with the teens and need a "time out". Cheryl & Leland would bring the RV and would allow us to come rest and have refreshments when we were weary.
Cheryl would greet us with a warm smile and make us feel so welcome.

In her life, Cheryl blessed so many with her words of encouragement and writings of sunshine. She truly has been a ray of light that shines in the darkness for so many people in their time of need. May the peace of the Lord be upon your family, and may you rest in the knowledge that Cheryl is in that place of eternal joy and true happiness â?? in the arms of God, who is the Father of lights. Some people enter your life and touch your heart in a very special way. Cheryl was one such person! It's so painful seeing her go but our lives are now so blessed from her brief visit with us. Now, at peace, at last safe in God's embrace. Thanks for the happy memories. My profound sympathy at this sad time.

To the Entire Yost/Eschler family. Words cannot express our deepest sympathy and sorrow for your entire family at this time of grief. However, We can also rejoyce in the fact that Cheryl is now resting with the Lord which we can be assured of by Gods words. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord!! One can only imagine the splender and wonders that Cheryl has seen already, and will continue to see in the future! I am quite sure with her loving character and the way she lived her life as a wonderful example here on earth, that she has heard those wonderful words from her heavenly father, "well done my good and faithful servant". Although we all will miss her beautiful smile here on earth, she will forever be held dear in our memories and in our hearts!! May God bless each and every one of you in this great time of need and always!!
With all of our love,
Larry, Gina, Amber and Brandon Lachmayer.

I am so sorry to hear about Cheryl's passing. She will be missed by all who knew her. We have all been touched by her loving and gracious presence. She lit up all our lives with her warm smile and her kind and welcoming words. {Don't all of us picture her with that great, infectious smile of hers!?}Her creativity through her poetry was an inspiration to read. She had a way with people, for she made all of us feel so loved by the Lord. Thank you "Mrs. Yost" for living out your faith with such love, joy, compassion and enthusiasm. You were one of those cornerstones of the faith at Perth Bible Church and beyond. I was personally touched by your ministry and you will be missed. Welcome home to you as you now are in the presence of Jesus, your Savior, who was so evident in your life here on earth. Your legacy will continue to live through your beautiful family. Love to all the Yost and Eschler families. May Christ continue to comfort all of you in this time of sorrow. With love from, Karen Shaw Thayer for all the Shaw family.

Jon, Kathy & family,
Until you meet again:
In life we loved you dearly in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone;
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories your love is still our guide;
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
In love & sympathy,

I'll never forget Cheryl asking Carol Sleezer & me to dinner right after we joined PBC 1975. She was the first person to befriend us at our church. Praise the Lord, that was the beginning of our long friendship. There were many more dinners & fellowship with the Yost's. We had many great times camping at Northampton, and our yearly camping jubilee at the house,as well as having our youth groups there.She was always a sweet friend. Although I didn't see her as often in recent years, she was always close in my heart. I will miss her dearly.

Dear Leland and family. The Lord has taken my "daughter" to be with himself. She will always be remembered for her loving, caring, generous spirit and most of all her desire to seek first the Kingdom of God.{Matthew 6:33}
Earth's loss is Heaven's gain.
I so regret that my advanced age and physical infirmities prevent me from being with you for her service on the 26th.
If we never see each other again here, I look forward to our reunion in Heaven.

We are all so sorry for your tremendous loss and have been praying that the Lord will continue to uphold you all during this difficult time. Cheryl was your loved one but she was also loved by so many others. Her "sunshine" has spread and will continue to spread to so many people! She was a true testimony of her strong Christian faith and certainly was someone who "walked" the talk. You will never know on this side of eternity the effect she had on so many lives and her spirit and love will live on not only in the lives of all her family members who loved her so much, but also in the lives of those she touched and influenced. We will miss her greatly and feel blessed to have been able to know her during our past 25 years at Perth Bible Church. Our loss is great but God's plan is greater. We love you guys!
