Dear Daddy~ It's been one month & a day since you have been gone. I miss you sooo much! You are now at peace in heaven. Seeing you suffer the way you did, was much too hard & long. We all know, if there was a choice, you would have never wanted to be that way. You were the BEST father anyone could ask for. You were a very strong man & worked very hard to be a great provider. To this day, I still have my "chimpmunk" bank acct. that you had me open, when I was a papergirl @ 14yrs old, at the Polish Bank. I use to love shining your oxford wing tip shoes, when you were going out for some function, meeting etc. for .50centsI could write a book on the great memories & the cute things you said & did. I use to love when you pulled in the driveway from work, & I'd run to you & kiss you & you gave me a piece of cheesemeleted, from the heat you saved from your lunchbox. The nicknames you had...cuckoosledge, zeek, etc. The way you raised & cared for all the beagels, I will always be thankful to you for making me be the dog lover I am today, you cared for them as though they were humans. I also carry the passion you had for music. Seeing you in your garage, always working on something & your music blairing & you singing, that's me..today. Dad, even though you did not get to know my husband David Maliziayou where so cute the one day when Dave & I were visiting you..& Dave asked you if he could marry me...& you smiled, & those gorgeous blue eyes of yours...you said "oh sure". Thanks Dad..he is a great guy & I call him "Sly" from your middle name because he reminds me of you, in so many ways..Mr Fix-it...no cobb-jobbing, either. Also, he always looks for bargains to save a penny to do work around our nice home we have. I have two wonderful stepsons, Chris, & yes, another David. I think you would be proud of me..Well, Daddy I want to say so much more, but there is not enough paper in the world, as I could go on & on. You are now in a better place, with the open arms of our Lord. I will always have you in my heart forever & ever....& I will always be "your little girl...forever! I love you a "gullzillion tons"
Much love...your little one.. xoxoxoRegina..a.k.a Jeanie
P.S. Thanks for the good dreams you are sending me! :-
