Janet and I were sorry to hear of Mary Ann's passing away. I had just been speaking with my sister about the fond memories we've had about the "donut lady" when we heard the sad news. When my sister and her two sons would visit from England, their trip was not complete until they went to see Mary Ann. She was their American "Auntie" since the days of their earliest childhood they're now going into college. It was always a pleasure to spend time with her anytime. She always had a loving, kind heart and will be missed.

Mrs. H was a wonderful person. My children first remember her as the ice cream lady. She made the best ice cream at Mountainaire. We loved that place. Then she became the donut lady. My son Aaron had a special name for her as she did for him. He works at Charlie Johns and would come over for a donut. They kidded each other all the time. Mrs. H was good to all of us Weavers and we loved her dearly. We are going to miss her very much. She was a good Christian lady who was honest, kind and thoughtful. We have sweet memories of her and Mr. H. She will be greatly missed in Speculator and by the all the Weavers.
