Mark: I'm not sure if you will remember me but I worked with you and your Mom many years ago at St. Mary's Hospital. When I saw that she passed away it was so sad and then your Dad also....I had to sent you my sympathy and prayers. As you will see on this website, I lost my Mom in May as well. We are saddened to hear about the loss of your Mom. If you think about it, we are lucky to have had our parents for such a long time. Some people are not as fortunate. It just means that were getting a little older now and we're experiening something that is part of life. Growing up in close families you need to remember that your Mom loved you and your family very much and she will look down upon you every single day. Sophia is probably too small to really understand what is happening, but I'm sure my best friend Dave has got a trick or two up his sleeve to put Alex at ease with his loss of his Grandmother..I know my best pal! Remember that you have friends all over the place, and you and your family are always welcomed to our house here in Las Vegas, NV. We would love to see you guys sometime, but in the interim, take care of Dad and the rest of the family.

We will miss Mother Barbara and the joviality she always spread wherever she went. No matter what else was going on around everyone she was always able to bring a smile to your face with a quip or a joke or just a remark concerning the present situation.
The last time I was with her was at the GSM Convention Dinner in Albany.
She was always a special person to me and will be sorely missed. All of us veterans have a special place in our hearts for the Mothers and there will be a void in that space now that she has left us. We will hold her in a special place in our hearts for as long as we live.
I am very sorry for your loss of someone so special.
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the wake or services. I have to take the boys to American Legion Boys State in Morrisville and will be leaving at 9 AM and returning about 4 PM.
All us veterans who knew her will miss her. My most sincerest condolences to the family and John in particular.

Words can't express the feeling of sadness that I feel for our family's loss. I'm going to miss Mom so much. She always found a way to make me laugh. She was the best Grandma she was loving and kind. Alessandro said to me this morning Daddy does this mean no more dates? I wish I knew how to answer him. Sometimes I wish we could all be as innocent as Sophia to where nothing hurt except a boo boo.
