Obituary of Kenneth D. Teetz

Kenneth D. Teetz, age 67, of Gloversville, died Wednesday evening, February 8, 2017 at the Fulton Center following complications from LBD. Some, who are old enough, may remember Ken for his athletic performances while at Gloversville High School in the late 60's. He was co-captain of the undefeated 1966 Huskies Football Team. Also, in the spring of 1967 he pitched a perfect game for the Huskies Baseball Team against archrival Johnstown High. He continued his athletic career at Cortland State where he was a three-year starter on the Red Dragon Football Team. A life-long resident of the Capital District the majority of Ken's employment years were spent at Kraft Food Service of Clifton Park. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Rose Kucel Teetz of Gloversville. He is survived by a brother, Bill Teetz and his wife Sandy of Johnstown. A private springtime interment service will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, Inc; 912 Killian Hill Road S.W; Lilburn, GA 30047. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
