I remember Kenny as a SUNY Cortland teammate, as a classmate and as a Lambda Phi Delta fraternity brother. He was quiet, unassuming, kind and always helpful. Despite the passage of 45 years since I last saw Kenny, I still have a vivid image of him as a special person. Rest well, Kenny.
Your Lambda brother,
Larry Zalkin "71

Ken was a terrific guy...and a just about perfect roommate at Lambda. Quiet, unselfish, willing to share his beer and car with anyone of us that was in need. Perfect that is, until he discovered the 1812 Overture and decided it was just right for wake up call music in the morning!!
You could always rely on Ken whether it was to make the tackle when he was playing linebacker or to help someone in need. Ken will surely be missed by all who knew him!

Good man. I remember our Winter Camping trip in Racquette Lake. We had to sleep in tents in the snow one night. We shared a tent. I remember Ken waking up in the middle of the night having to go to the bathroom. Our breaths had condensed and frozen on the inside of the tent. Ken back hit the ice and he howled. It was probably the loudest sound I ever heard him make. Quiet man, good sense of humor, easy laugh, kind and big hearted. The world is a better place because he was here. Rest In Peace, my friend.

Very sorry for the loss of Kenny. I was one of the lucky few to be on all three sports with Kenny. He was more than a great football, wrestler and baseball player. He was a great person. Dan Farrington class of 66.

I have fond memories of rooming with Ken in the Lambda Phi Delta frat house during our Senior year at Cortland. Ken was not only a very gifted athlete, he was friends with many of our fraternity brothers and will be sorely missed. John H. Ciulla, jr.

I was very sad to see the passing of Kenny. We were on the baseball team in high school. We would compete against each other to see who could throw the most strikes within a 100 pitches. I will remember him fondly as being a good athlete and nice guy. My prayers are with his family. RIP Kenny. Doug Chase

Played Gloversville Little League baseball with Ken on the Decca Records team in the late 50's and early 60's, a very gifted athelete and wonderful person, interesting that our paths never crossed since but l'll always remember him and all those home runs he hit at Parkhurst Field.
