Jon,
I sat and cried at the cemetary today and then I thought everyday I miss you. My best friend for so many years and the godfather to my children..We shared so much of our life together and you were always there.I make sure to see your family often and your sis and mom they miss you my friend......Jordan is real mad at me for not keeping you home and I am soooo sorry......I miss you very, very much , you are and always will be in my heart. Thanks for always being there and know that when I see you again we will root for THE COWGIRLS together!!!!

To the Giardono family, I am very sorry for your loss. I have known Jon all of my life, he hung out with my brothers for many years he was part of our family. We also worked together at Danny's newsstand and had many laughs, always reminising about how crazy we all were. He had such a big heart and would do whatever he could to be there for you. He will be greatly missed from all of the DePalma family!! Rest in peace bud and God bless

I have so many great memories. From throwing the football around, to playing wiffle ball. Hanging out at the barn! Hanging out at the park!! You were always like a brother to me. Life happened and we drifted our seperate ways however you were always in my thoughts. You were a great friend to me, and will never be forgotten!! There will be a day that we get to hang out again, until then try to bring those Cowboys some good luck. There is a hole in the roof of Texas stadium so two can watch, you and the other big guy!!

Dear Jon,
I do not know where I should begin. I just want to thank you for the time that you and I shared. That special place in my heart that you have been in is still yours. I'll never understand why god took you now instead of when you were older. But, I guess he realized that you are as special to him as you were to me.
Don't worry about your mom, Tina, or the kids. I will do whatever I can to help them through this. Because that is what family does. I have always been there for them from day one and not even your death will change that. So, you can relax and do what god wants you to do. Remember the cowboys will always be number one in your eyes. Howie and the kids send there condolences too. I always said that I would never say goodbye to u so, in closing I will leave you with this final thought. I created a poem for your family, and I tried not to leave anyone out.
