Before Mary and Debbie moved to Florida, I was visiting the house one afternoon Mary gave me a slip from her Yucca plant that had been growing beside the barn. That plant has continued to flourish and blossom every year. Those strong roots grasp the earth as a reminder of the strength that Mary has endured throughout her illness only to blossom once again. Love You

My name was Lois VanderVeer and lived on a farm near Mary for many years. We played together and also went to school together. I lost track of Mary as my husband was in the USAF for 30 years and we moved quite often. My sincere sympathy to all of Mary's family. Lois

Debbie, Toni & Family,
We are so sorry for your loss - but you must be relieved that your mom has finally found peace and is in a better place. Our children all live away and are unable to attend the funeral, but send their condolences. Jason mentioned how much it meant to him that his Aunt Mary stayed in touch with him through e-mail the whole time he's been away from home and in the military. She was a special lady and was truly loved. Please know you're in our thoughts and prayers. Our hearts go out to you all.
