I would like to say to the family of Duke im sorry for your loss but as we all know hes better off he will no longer suffer as we know he has for a long time.. He will be deeply missed by many who he knew as he blessed many of us I am so glad I was one of many to know him as I will miss the times he would be running the front stairs for a fire call and as he would blow the horn at us kids standing at the side of the road as he was off to help someone else as he in return also had many special people to help him through this long journey as I was one of many in the years past not only will he be better off in heaven he will be with his dear father we all also miss... Marilyn and Michelle,
All I can see in my head is Duke, Michelle and I starting out rolling hose in the explorer post and watching Duke grow into one of the finest firefighters I think I shall EVER have the privilidge of working with. There was so much than that to the relationship tho...Duke was a brother and a friend. I am only grateful to have had him in my life and to have been honored enough to call him a friend. May Angels carry all his pain away and may the warmth and love that was his life comfort you now and always.

My condolences are with all of you at this time of need.
My brother Dwayne grew up with Bobby thats what we called him growing up. They played Football together and went to school together. Also your Husband/Dad worked with my father .
No one can understand why God takes the ones we love so much..but I do know they are looking down at all of you and they are your Angels.
Remember all the good times...we will all be together one day.
God Bless All Of You!

When I volunteered at GAVAC from 1997-2001, Duke was not only amazingly reliable as an ear to listen but also a fellow who appreciated the efforts of his fellow emergency responders. It my privilege and honor to have served with Duke.
He is watching NASCAR from heaven with his father and Dale Sr. nearby. I know that our friends who have gone before have welcomed him with open arms.
My personal condolences to his friends and family.

I will surely miss you, and the good times we shared together as friends. I hope heaven is as beautiful as you are a person. And one thing I'am sure of is you are flying around on those beautiful wings you have so righteously deserve. Hey, while your flying around, help Dale.Jr
