To the Schmidtmann Family, I knew your parents from camping at Birch Haven in Broadalbin. My parents, your parents and many other friends up there spent many good times, playing UNO or Bocci ball or golfing. I will never forget the time there was a square dance in the hall and you dad dragged me out to dance. We had a lot of fun during those camping years. They will be missed but not forgotten. Our prayers are with you and your family. Lorraine

To All The Schmidtmann Family, My deep sympathy to Ed's whole family.I know Ed from way back when the Schmidtmann family would gather up at Galway Lake with the Musolffs and the rest of our Galway gang. However,Ed and I would meet again into the 60's when we met as Scouters. We renewed old friendships and stories of Galway.Ed and I would occasionally speak in German to each other.I only recently ran into Ed at Woodworth Lake for another occasion. It was wonderful to see him again after a decade or so. I will miss him dearly as a friend and as a Scout.
