Sherrie, I am so sorry to hear about your dad, He was such a sweet man. Please try and take comfort in knowing that he is now with your Mom and sister. And may you always find comfort in knowing that you were a wonderful and loving daughter,and blessed your mom and dad with a great Son-in-Law and 3 beautiful Grand children! I was in high school when Percy was Head Custodian and he always had a quick smile and a "How Ya Doin Pal?" High School was a better place for his being there. After his retirement; it was always nice seeing him out and about in the community. He will be missed...

I LOVED PERCY BAIRD!
I was a physical education teacher up at the high school from 1970 to 1996.
He was always pleasant to work with and always willing to help out. He was such a nice man.

I was a student in the Gloversville school system from grade 6 until my GHS graduation in 1990. I recall Mr. Baird as always having a smile and always ready to help out wherever needed. He was a sweet man.
