I was just made aware of Stan's passing, and I am so sorry. He went with me to pick out my very first car, so long ago, and was one of my best friends - even though I moved around a lot, I always knew where I could find him to say "hi". Even though it has been many years since I last seen him, I will miss him greatly.

Steve & the Putman family, To hear of Stan's passing was a quite a shock. It filled my heart with sadness , but conjured up some fond memories. I worked with Stan many years ago & had stayed in touch through many visits to the DMV and occasional chance meetings out in public. The thing I'll remember most about him is his smile. He was always upbeat and always had one on his face. So please accept my sincerest sympathy & condolences & today as the tears "rain" down from Heaven, may God's love comfort and embrace you during this time of loss.

I'm very sorry to hear of Stan's passing. Some of my most fond teenage memories are of cross country skiing and the pie parties with the Putman Family. I remember him as always being a great guy. My fiancé at the time, Theresa, would tell me about a guy at one of the county buildings who was just a great guy and genuinely friendly. Upon further discussion we realized that it was Stan, the brother of my sister-in-law. This was a testament to his outgoing nature and friendly manner that left an impression on people. The world will be worse for the loss.

I am so very sad and shocked by Stan's passing. I had such a wonderful time singing with him in Mohawk Valley Chorus especially at the last concerts in May. He was a superb singer who sang with passion as he lived his life and loved his family. I will miss his voice, his smile, his positive thoughts and his beautiful pale purple shirt and tie!

With my deepest sympathy to the family of Stanley, It has been quite awhile since I have seen Stanley, or his family as I moved from the Gloversville area. I had been a friend to Stan and others back when the Fulton County 4-H horse council was around. We shared many laughs at parties with old friends the Banta Family, Jim Zacek and many more. Stan always had a great smile and was very fun to be with. Again with my heartfelt sympathy to his partner and his family. When visiting the area and drive by the Putman farm have alwasy wondered how everyone was doing and where they are now. God Bless!!

No words can deeply express how much I thought of Stan. He was truly one of a kind- from his perfect hair and his thousand dollar smile to his genuine sincerity. I have been blessed to have known him and worked with him. To Steve- take time to only remember the happiness and let the pain escape you. To Stan's children know that your father would only want happiness and success for the both of you - take time to grieve and then go out and achieve. Make your Dad proud.
Sincerely.
