Obituary of William Robert Nast
Mr. William Nast died suddenly Thursday night, March 16, 2017. He was 62. Mr. Nast served in the United States Navy as a corpsman and an operating room technician.
After completing his enlistment, he attended Cornell University, Columbia University and Montclair State College, graduating with a BA in psychology. He continued his studies in graduate school in Buffalo, New York, working toward a Ph.D. in psychology but was forced to retire in 1990 due to ill health.
He and his brother Thomas moved from Montclair, New Jersey to Gloversville, New York in 2002. He is survived by his father, Philip H. Nast; his stepmother, Hilja J. Nast and his older brothers Thomas C. Nast and Philip E. Nast.
