Hello from Cheyenne, WY. Bill and I were stationed in Newport, RI (1974-1976). I was a Corpsman working in the PT/OT Clinic and Bill was an Operating Room Technician. We became great friends and I was his best man at his wedding in Newport before I shipped off to Annapolis. I think his wife's name was Renee, but I'm not sure. Bill and I drove down to meet his girlfriend and his parents before we left to go to the movies to see Blazing Saddles and then we drove ALL the way back to Newport to start work that morning. He had a yellow Garmin Kia VW. I've been looking for Bill for decades, but now I am so sad that I'm too late and I am also very sorry for your loss. What little time we had together I've still remembered him all these years!
