Dear John, Judi, and Jacob,
I will always remember your Dad, Uncle John, for his warm and friendly ways, his ready and handsome smile, and his open hospitality. I always felt welcome as a child visiting in your home. Uncle John and Aunt Carolyn had such a loving way about them. I can still hear Uncle John greeting my Dad with the "Steiger Boys' 'Erf'". And I can still see him standing there waving his goodbye no matter how late or how cold it was. We are sorry that we are unable to attend the service due to an out-of-state family commitment that takes us the opposite direction on the same weekend. Our love and prayers are with you. Love, Amy
