Dear Logan Family:
I have lost track of Bernie for many years now, but never have I lost my respect and admiration for him. I remember him well from the bank where he helped me many times and also from the small college loan he gave me from the Lions Club. He should be remembered as one of the great Gloversvillian leaders and one of the smartest, most genuine and kindest man of all time. I am so very glad he lived such a long life and if I know Bernie at all, I suspect he lived a very useful life all of that time.
Very warmly,
Arthur Michael Ambrosino

"Uncle Bunt" as we Davis kids knew him was an important man. He was Head of the Bank in New York, controlled the grocery market at NorthHampton Beach, and owned all the cemetaries in Gloversville and Johnstown. Our perspective may have been skewed a little bit by our size at the time but he was an important man in our youth. In time we learned that he was involved in his community and would help others whenever he knew there was a need. We also observed how much he cared for his own children as they grew up and tested independence. He would continue to try and help them through the years. We also can remember the annual Christmas visits to the Logans house and the great smell of Uncle Bunt's pipe mixed with the smells of Christmas greens. We also received the annual Christmas box, for so many years a tradition with U Bunt and always a surprise. We've got so many very nice memories and we did not see him often enough. Our thoughts are with all of you.
Love,Randy and Laurie

I'll always remember the fun I had with Uncle Bunt and family at the camp store and thanksgivings at the farm. We had a jolly time enjoying the peace and relaxation of the family being together. He will be missed but not forgotten. Peace be with him on his journey to be with those who have gone before him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Uncle Bunt was a wonder man with many stories to tell. His house was always one of our stops when we had a rainy day during vacation at Caroga Lake. There are also many memories of special Christmas visits too.
