To John and Family-Chuck and I spent many an hour playing guitar together. It saddens me to find out that he is not with us anymore. He was a great friend, musician but most of all an older brother I never had. It was music and the Sardelli family that originally brought us together. We played together in The Falcons and enjoyed each others company on double dates. He was a regular at my parents home especially when my mother made baked baby chick thighs or we had pizza. He came back from boot camp a better man although I don't know how there could have been a better man inside him, he was already the greatest and was proud to serve his country. I'm proud to say he and his family were friends of mine and John, as I write this, I wish I had known sooner that he was ill. I would have been in touch before such a tragic time. My love and prayers go out to you and the whole family. He will be missed, I'm sure. God Bless and take care in this worst of times.

It has been many years since I've seen Uncle Chuck.. I am extremely sorry for your loss.. So many of my childhood memories included him.. He was my favorite uncle.. I loved him dearly. I especially loved his music..He was so talented. He always made sure he played Puff the Magic Dragon for me which was my personal favorite.He even saved my life one night when I was chocking on a butterscotch candy.. Blessings to you all.. My family will remember Chuck for his neverending patience and kindness towards people, especially the countless number of children who came through his door. We are thankful his suffering was limited in time. We know he is resting without pain and worry watching his beloved Yankees and an occassional Scooby-Doo episode. His generous spirit will be missed.

Rest in peace Chuck, We had some really great times at the parties for our Grandchildren, and we enjoyed your friendly and loving ways. You had a way to make everyone feel comfortable to be around no matter where we were or what we were doing. You will be greatly missed.
