A strong woman touches more lives than she could ever imagine. I remember my own mother's excitement at going to the White Holland House almost 40 years ago. I'm sure we can send along her deepest condolences along with ours. She was a certainly a remarkable woman of strength and hope.

Barb, and family,
As much as we know and understand that the end could be near, nothing ever prepares us for the shock of loss, the finality, the separation. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
With deepest sympathy and love,
Sil

For twenty plus years I have known this wonderful woman you call mom, gram and Arlene. There was not a time that I visited with her that I didn't leave with a big smile on my face. I loved that she would look at me, and take my hair in her hands and say, "Oh, so pretty".
I know you are all sad, but she truly is in a better place, and we know she is not alone. She is playing the greatest golf course ever, drinking some wine, and catching up with her love, Walter.
I am sorry for your loss, very sorry. She was one heck of a woman, who will be very missed by all!!! You are in my thoughts, and prayers!!

Everyone, it seems, either worked at The Turkey Farm or at Petoff's while growing up in the 60's - and I was fortunate enough to do both. Barb and Judy, we rode the school bus together. Shelly, we made rice-a-roni once while I was babysitting for you, and your dad thought it looked like chicken food. May all your memories of your mom be warm and happy - as they are for so many of us. A grand lady, a class act, and a someone who truly made a difference for the better in this world.

Arlene and my mother, Thelma "Kelly" Neidig, were lifelong friends and nursing school buddies. We visited the White Holland House many times as kids. The picture of your mom is what first caught my eye in the paper. She was beautiful and much as I remember her. Sadly, my mom died in 1991. Please accept my heartfelt condolences, as well as those of my sister, Merri Lynn.
