Jane lived with my Dad, Clarence Telschow for over 12 years and they were close friends. She was a giving and loving person and I wish I had known sooner about her passing. Only when my sister tried to reach her this Holiday Season did she discover the phone was disconnected and we began our sad search. Jane lived a good life and was a truly thoughtful person - may she rest in peace.

We here in Inverness, Fl are very sorry to hear of Jane's passing. It should be noted that for quite a few years she was a volunteer at Citrus Memorial Hospital. We met her several years ago and have missed her since moving back to NY.

I remember as a kid always trying to find a new elephant to give her as a gift and she always had cookies when we visited.

I can remember many wonderful things about my grandmother. Elephants, everywhere we looked in her home there were elephants. I believe though we were estranged about 18 years ago with her in Florida and my siblings and I in Arkansas, she loved us. When she call me, about once a month we would talk about everything. The best thing that happened to her was when she decided to return home to NY. She called me on my birthday and even checked to make sure she had my 3 brothers number to call them. Her great-grandchildren met the world to her, I am just sorry she never got to meet them as we lived so far away. Christmas Eve we spent time with her when we were little and I can remember her chocolate drop cookies that she made for us. They were good and she frosted them with white frosting and christmas colored sprinkles.I love you Grandma now and always!! Please anyone with stories about my grandmother or pictures I would love copy. You can mail them to me at at Zzavvalynn Orleanski, PObox 11412, Conway, AR 72034, or email me at z.jean@rocketmail.com.

Granda Orleanski was partly estranged from my side of the family since my father Edmund Orleanski Jr. and my mother Tammy Lynn Smith seperated and me Robert Orleanski and my siblings Edmund Orleanski III, Zzavvalynn Orleanski, and Adam Orleanski and my mother and I moved to Arkansas, but she, even after years with no communication, found my siblings and I and tried to make sure she called us on our birthdays. She was loving from what I remeber of her as a child and loved elephants, and now as an adult I see what she found her value in FAMILY. I agree family is the greatest thing in life and the struggle she took after 10 years of not talking to have my phone ring it being her on the other line calling just to say happy birthday and that she loved me. She shocked me, to hear someone I only remembered as a young child. She sounded just as I remembered. It is a shame that my family was not close to her, not as close as we should have been, but this was by no means her fault and I thank her for the dedication she showed. Thank you Grandma! We'll love you and remember you forever.
If anyone with pictures and/or stories of her life please feel free to contact me as I would like to have a collection for my family, heratige, and children if I ever have them. Please contact Lisa & Robert Freeman at:
