Dear Karen and Marion,
I'm so sorry to hear of Uncle Cookie's passing and so sorry I can not be there for the funeral. I'm also sorry that I didn't get to see any of you the last couple of times I visited in NY, but my sister Marion always keeps us informed of what's happening there and how everyone is doing. Uncle Cookie was alot like my Dad. He didn't say alot when you were around him, but you knew he loved you and you could always count on him. I have a lot of fond memories of our families when we were growing up, especially Sunday dinners at Grandma and Grandpa Salvione's house and summer picnics at Green's. You were lucky to have him the longest of all our parents and 2 cousins. Now they can all be together happily and at peace. I pray that you will find comfort in all the good memories.
