I never met him, but he was my Aunt's son. He looks very much like my father John F. Pitchanau.

I believe his mother Mary may have been my fathers sister. My Grand father lived on Franklin St in Gloversville NY. His picture looks like my father John Francis Pitchanau.

Harold Morey, known to most of us as “Uncle John”. Uncle John wasn’t just a man, nor a selfish man, nor an uncaring man, but a respected care giving gentle man who thought of others all the time rather than himself. His family was his life, even though he had no children of his own his nieces and nephews and their children were all his children. “Uncle John is a very witty and intelligent man who was not only my uncle, but a teacher, mentor, and mostly a friend to me and all of us who knew him. We could visit “uncle John” anytime door open to all. We could sit for hours, in comfort, in peace at his house and talk to him at ease as an uncle a friend or teacher. As his closet friend had put it” Anyone who knew John knows his heart was made of the purest gold”. His memories will last us forever and his kindness and dedication in keeping the family together as he treasured his family most.
the memories we will cherish forever and ever
Love your nephew,
John

Uncle John
You will dearly be missed. And always be loved.
Uncle John was always givimg, loving and caring. He he would always think of others first, and always wanted his family close. Family was important to him.
Uncle John loved spending time at Family barbaques and going out to lunch with everyone. He also enjoyed family and freinds to come visit with him at his home to have long talks about the good old times and having many laughs.
He was just so much of everthing.
He will always in my heart.
Love you always
Jean Chase
