Dear Mom,
Families have happy times & sad times. Times when family members hold grudges that last way too long. Life is too short to be unforgiving. I have forgiven and moved on. I am sorry that was not the case for all the family members. Three children that were not mentioned in either Dad's obituary or yours. Christine Ann Elwood, your first born daughter still alive and well. Edward Charles and Roy Allen Elwood were born to you and have passed away, but they, as I should have been mentioned. People do know we existed. I wanted to say Mom,that I loved you very much and I am sorry that you and I were not able to see each other and hug each other and say we are sorry for all the years that we missed together.
I will always carry the love for you in my heart, When I pass on, you will be listed in my obituary that I was born to Robert F. Elwood and Eunice Helene Ropeter on August 21, 1953.
