I will always remember that great smile that reached all the way to the sparkle in his eyes...his warm and welcoming manner...his love and concern for children...the pride he had in his family and his heritage...his love of music, motorcycling, archery. He was a great Uncle and will always have a special place in my heart. Love you, Uncle Pete.

My life is better because I had the good fortune to know Pete Brojakowski. I will never forget working on various projects with him, and being amazed at his ability to work harder then people 30 years younger then him. He excelled at everything he did fire fighting, archery, music, mtorcycling and metal detecting to name a few, and with Dory he raised a wonderful family. Our thoughts and prayer are with the entire Brojakowski family

To the Brojakowski Family: I am sorry for your loss. I had known Battalion Chief Brojakowski during my years growing up in Amsterdam, being unofficially adopted by the members serving in the AFD during the years of 60's and 70's. Pete had the honorable reputation of being a good firefighter, a title that does not come easily. Thanks to his patience in mentoring an enthusiastic young boy, I was able to fulfill my dreams and live the good life in the fire service. Thank you Pete, and God Bless you.
