To the Rizzio family
I went to high school with Tony and though I have not seen him in years I remember him as being a kind and gentle soul. He also was my mother's neighbor on Blowers Road and many times helped them with their appliances. Mom and I were so sorry to hear about his passing. You are in our thoughts and in our prayers.

To Tony's family: my deepest sympathy goes out to you. I knew Tony for years through my husband Sal who was friends & airplane buddies with him. He was also kind to my grandson Carmen Jr. who also loves airplanes and lost his grandfather too soon to help him. And yes, Tony was also my "Sears repairman" for many years.

Dear Family. today is a sad day as I will never forget the great times I had growing up with Tony on Burr St. along with Vin and Frankie: water skiing , camping ,snow machine riding, but the one thing that stands out the most is Tony taught me how to play the guitar. He was very smart and I oftened asked him how he knew how to do so much as building his own boat and much more: he simply responded that he read a-lot. I will forever keep him in my thoughts and prayers.
With heart-felt Condolences,
John Salvione

I am so sorry to hear about Tony, I was just at sears in amsterdam talking to an employee and we brought up Tony. I worked with Tony at sears in Gloversville and remained in touch somewhat through out the years. I brought my family up to Edinburgh to take part in the young Eagles. There he gave a ride to my girlfriend on his parachute type plane thing.
What a great guy always friendly. I will miss him. As for you all my thoughts are with you.
RichARD sCHERMERHORN.
